Fuel Injection lines
I am considering replacing the fuel injection lines on my 911SC engine. Apart from replacing with originals, is there any other options? I notice that the end fittings are just pushed on the pipes so I assume that this is not a very high pressure system? Could I use the original fittings and replace the pipe with something suitable and use some fuel pipe clamps?

If I remember correctly the system pressure is in the 50-60 psi range, when the engine is warm, slightly higher when cold (70psi-ish). So, this is not considered to be a low pressure system in my mind.
Have you considered changing to the metal fuel lines. these were used on some SCs and come up for sale occasionally. regards, Al

It seems that the later SC's had solid pipes. Mine had flexibles. I am going to get a set from the states. I can get them for just under $100 for a set of six there and I am going over with work in March so I can bring them back with me. I am surprised that solid lines don't crack with vibration!!!
