2.0 pistons

I bought a set of 2.0 liter cylinder and pistons. One piston was a little different (I know that), turns out to be a carrera 6 piston.
The "S" piston weighs 483g and the "906" 390g, including wrist pis and rings. Quite a big difference.

The wrist pin looks trick, it tapers!

We're looking to sell the carrera6 piston and get a standard S-piston instead. What can such a single piston be worth?

The Carrera piston is relief cut like a 69S for the higher compression. The others that you have are 67/68 S

The S above are also cut for 45/39 mm valves.

I wouldn't be surprised if the taper were for pin lightening, the pin is probably the same diameter on the outside. Cool find!

Hello Magnus, if you still have that single "906" piston, can you please tell me what the casting number is? Thx! Armando AJSERRANO at MSN dot COM
