Rebuilding 3.2 / 930 Engine

First I will introduce myself and my project.

French Canadian ( I will make a lot a spelling and grammar mistake) I have no mechanical training but when I was at university I was doing my own mechanic to have more money to spend on brew. I'm the engineer type and see the logic in a engine.

I have purchase a very very 1988 carrera shell everything except engine and transmission. I also purchase a Turbo engine with a transmission, I can say now that I was not a great idea, luckily the price was fair.

My goal is to built (yes another one) 1973 rsr clone/replica not a identical one a better one

The engine that a purchase came with a 915 transmission so I purchase a G50/00 for the strength and the ease of installation given the year of my car. I also purchase a Kep pressure plate with a sach clutch from what I see on Patrick Motorsport website it's rated at 550 lbs torque. Why all this information to built the engine accordingly

I have decided to disemble the engine to find out what I had on my end and veryfied the condition of all the parts. Whith the price of parts and the power output this could be a recipe to desaster to my eyes.

This is what I have
Carrera 3.2 intake with original fuel rail and Porsche 944 turbo injectors
Tial 46 wastegate Turbonetic HIFi 60-1 turbo
3.2 engine case

I had my first surprise when I remove the valve cover

Ti retainner, dammage valve cover, and broken spring and dammage by rubbing on the big aluminum block that sit on top of the engine head.

I have 930 pistons and cylinder the look to be in great shape except for a crack cylinder

The cylinder stud where ease to remove so easy that I remove some by hands

I have carrera 3.2 engine heads

I have a 930 crankshaft and 964 camshaft and 930 oil pump

Now is the fun part.

The goal is to built a engine that will last, a engine that will do 550lbs of torque to match my clutch and a engine that will pull at very low rpm (no turbo lag)

Obviously I will like to reuse parts that I have but I'am also open to use other parts if they are much better I don't what to rebuilt the engine in 2 years.

Let's discuss

OK maybe I wasn't clear enough

I'm looking for advice on the built

I pull the trigger on a GT3 crankshaft and now I'm debating piston and cylinders options.

If I want the turbo to light up instantly I will like to go 8.5 C/R advice ?
