LSM-11 O2 Sensor Alternatives

Not sure if this is the forum to ask.

I'm running a 911 3.6 with ITBs and Motec ECU.

My motec system uses an LSM-11 O2 Sensor ==

Trying to find if there is an alternative replacement. The original LSM-11
are a bit spendy.

I'm not even sure our tune is using feedback from the O2 or not, so
I'm a little hesitant to buy a new one at the ~$200+ price point.

The current one is >8 years old.

thx,

mike

Is there some reason to believe that the existing sensor has failed?

The oxygen sensor may not be running in a closed loop (I think this case is likely). If it is not, then depending on your needs, various oxygen sensors may work and be compatible with Motec.

If it is running in closed loop, then my inclination would be to stick with what Motec recommends.

M48. I suspect its running open loop.

I remember the tuner stating the on board O2 sensor wasn't very
accurate and was slow relative to his external. (when it was first tuned
since I rebuilt the engine 3 years ago)

I am in the midst of doing some ITB refurbishment/idle resetting.

Can you access the map from the ECU? If you can download it and send it to me I can see if in fact is running in open loop.
