Measured deck height today

I got the deck height measured today using just a caliper on the edge of the piston and then using gauging wax (what I've used on the past on my Ducati engines) Sample info here:

cam degreeing and cylinder squish

And came up with an averaged height of 1.2mm I went here to enter all info to calculate the compression ratio:

Engine Compression Ratio (CR) Calculator

With the piston info on the JE website for these 10.5:1 pistons (I don't have the original paperwork), I get a CR of 9.84. This is with a .25mm shim under the cylinder. With all of the discussions in other threads about quality of gasoline and twin plug, 9.8 seems like a nice safe CR to have on this engine.

3.4, twin plug, JE pistons
