What about main bearings?

I've just been in contact with my machinist today just to learn that I'm in the same glyco rod bearing "jam" as allot of engine builders suffer these days. See my other thread "grinding of crank" for more details.

So my question is this: has anyone experienced problems with main bearings from glyco?
As you can see from the attached picture, this main bearing set has been produced in Poland - donno if that makes a clue for anything..... I belive the rod bearings was prodiced in South Africa.

Best regards from Norway
Pelle
