pistons in 2.2T motor?

Have 71 T motor and would like to know if from new it would have KS or Mahle pistons?,our host seems to only stock rings for the Mahle pistons but not sure if that answers my question,engine number is 6110729 if that helps ,thanks.

Got to look inside the Pistons for the identification.

Thanks Bruce,didn't really want to hear that darn it,motor is fully assembled but have the chance to buy a full set of NOS Porsche rings if I do go in there in the future,so there is no set rule on what was used out of the 2 makes?,cheers.

My 2.2T pistons were Mahles.

Are the cylinders iron? If so, I am guessing that all the OEM rings would be the same. Porsche did not use Alusils in '71, if that helps.
