930 oil pump too much?

As I cobble parts together for a future build, I happened across a 930 oil pump for a good price. Would this pump be too much oil volume for a hot 2.3L motor? I will have a cooler in the front should it see track duty here in Texas.

The turbo pump is over-kill but it will work. If you are looking for a pump, an SC or 3.2 Carrera will provide all the pressure and flow you need.

The turbo pump is huge and will increase parasitic loss but there is no reason not to use it if you have one.
