Please confirm Cam location stock 1975 911.

I just want a confirmation from the experts that I installed the cams on the correct side of the engine before I start the cam timing.

So, where should the 911 105 143 00 cam go? Driver side or passenger side?

Thanks,

Dave. The right cam has the lobes paired together. Each pair look like a rabbit ears.
143 is left cam shaft

Thanks Bruce.

What do you set the cams at? I checked Wayne's engine book and there is no reference in the book I have. It is a 2003 printing.

Dave,

Look at Wayne's book Chapter 6 and refer to figure 6-5. The illustration demonstrates the cam shaft profiles for left and right side. Bruce A. is an excellent source of information. PM me if you need his tel.#.
