Head bolts

I'm getting ready to change the head bolts in a Porsche 1978 Targa and I understand that there are some ideas on best how to do this torch on some other ideas pipe wrench excetera and someone to look up that I can't find

Mapp gas, snap on stud removal tool, pipe wrench,patience. Plan on a few breaking if there not already. Sometimes it's necessary to drill one out or have someone with a EDM get one out. Nice to have a welder on hand too. Several threads on this subject just do a search and Good Luck!

I just pulled 23 today with a collet and no heat.

Yes, Snap-On collet tool (with Mapp gas heat) is the way to go on those.

Double nut the threaded end and heat with a propane torch
