John Truman in Ohio. He is an ex Stoddard engine builder. He has been building these engines since the 1960. Built me a 3.2 Carrera based unit bored and stroked to 3.8 l, twin plugged with modified factory MFI. Stands behind his work.

There are actually quite a few GOOD engine builders strewn across the US; most you don't hear about since they do not read Internet Forums. :)

Remember though, there IS a major difference between building street & racing engines and this is where some due diligence is strongly recommended.

Good point. It's also important to think about what engine you're building. Everyone has their specialties/preferences, and sometimes that will make a difference.
