Anybody aware of a good Porsche 964 engine rebuilder in CA?

Plenty of great engine builders on this site. Why limit yourself to CA? Unless you want to be able to stop into the shop and participate in the build, I would locate the best fit for your project and ship the engine.

Nor Cal Or So cal? Race or stock?
I'm the other way around. With a 5 figure engine I want to be able to check in in person. Or heaven forbid something goes amiss I can walk in and take it to another builder. We never want to think of the what ifs but horror stories sometimes come from the most reputable shops.
