I've used Supertec Performance for my last 4 air-cooler Porsche engine rebuilds.
Fair, fast and incredibly professional. Track or street.

There's several that I can think of : Steve Weiner of Rennsport in Portland Oregon and Glenn Yee Motorsports in San Dimas a local shop.

Dwain Dement, Vision Motorsports built one of my motors (3.2 race motor) and many others that I've raced some 20+ years. In Orange County, Laguna Hills, CA Vision Motorsports

In the SF Valley up your way, there's TRE Motorsports.
I've never had a motor built there, but Dave Bouzaglou is deservedly very well respected.

Thank you all for the info and sharing your experience.
I am leaning towards Patrick Motorsports since they can get it done in 30 to 45 days, where the other shops have a waiting list and you are inline for 4 to 8 months.

Thanks again and ill keep everyone posted with the outcome!
Cheers!

Have you done a search? There was some venom in a recent thread...
