Breather cover for 1978 SC
I've got this beat her cover. however, when does one need the version with the sender unit threads?
also, what is that threaded hole next to it on the case? ideas? ![]() ![]()

The sender is used as part of the lambda system on 80 to 83.

Also the breather with threads for a sender is used on the '84-'89 3.2 to activate the heater fan on top of the engine. Also the 930 engine has a thermo valve installed in the breather.
Get an earlier magnesium breather cover to save yourself 4 ounces? ![]()
