Useful life for Aasco valve springs

I'm currently tearing my engine apart after premature rod bearing failure. I'm curious about the useful life of Aasco valve springs. The ones I have have somewhere in the neighborhood of 120 track hours on them revving no more than 7k. Can they be reused? Should they be put in a spring compressor before reuse?

I'll replace them if it's warranted but don't want to spend the cash if it's unnecessary.

I can't see any real reason why they should be a problem unless they show wear at the interface between the inner and outer spring.

It would be worth measuring the overall length to see of they have changed (unlikely) and if you are really concerned measure the load at fitted length and spring rate and see if anything has changed.

If you don't have any data of this type for a new spring it may be a bit meaningless.
