anti seize in the wrong place?
 
Guys, i put antiseize on the engine and tranny mount bolts. Am i screwed?

I always use anti-seize on those (though my cars have a gearboxes, rather than a "trannies" :eek: . . . not that there's anything wrong with that!!!:)).

A drop or two of motor oil on those threads works well too.

I'm curious why you would think this is a bad thing?

The M12 engine mount bracket bolts (the bolts that pass through the body mounts) are notorious for rusting into the threaded tubes on the ends of the bracket. Antiseize is highly recommended thereb because when they rust, what can happen is the threaded tube tears away from the bracket when you try to break them loose with a long breaker bar or an impact wrench.
