Mate 3.6 jugs to 3.8 heads?

I have a set of 964 heads that were cut flat to mate to 3.8 jugs.

However, I'm thinking of downsizing the jugs to run a 3.6 setup.

I'd like to reuse the heads as they have been reconditioned and they
are setup to use the RS 51.5mm intakes and 43.5mm exhausts with
8mm valves.

thoughts?

thanks,

Mike

If the chambers haven't been messed with I don't see it being a problem.
As long as you have a seal surface you ought to be fine-maybe just a touch
of quench area around the perimeter?
