Alternator Rebuilding Recommendations?
Please recommend a reliable shop or service for rebuilding alternators.
I am located in North Carolina, have one suggestion based out of Pennsylvania, but would like someplace closer unless none exists. If you have one, please give the company name, a contact person and a phone number and website (if available). This will be for a Type 27 55-amp unit. Thanks, B |

Rebuild Service
Anyone? Buehler? Buueeehler?
There's got to be someone out there who knows of a rebuild service. If not in North Carolina proper, how about mid-Atlantic? Anyone? |

An alternator rebuild shop, any of them will do. This "art" has been around for 50 years. Nothing magical.

I used a local guy here in Myrtle Beach. He's an old guy that only does alternators & generators. It was super smooth after he worked on it. If you need any contact info, PM me and I'll drop by his shop. Phil

Hi Phil
Saw one of your posts on Pelican Parts from 2013. Are still in MB? Was wondering if you can recommend a good shop with experience working on older 911s in Myrtle Beach area. Need to have some oil leaks fixed in my 85 911 and would appreciate any experiences you might have. Thanks in advance, Hardy |
