shiftknob inserts
Anybody know a source of the inserts with set screws for the early shift knobs to slip onto and to secure to 901-911-915 shifters? And are they glued in?

shift knob stuff
Not the crush sleeve. But definitely the aftermarket insert. For example, an aftermarket AMCO used an insert and some of those used crush sleeves and some used set screws. There are some manufacturers that are producing balsa shiftknobs...maybe I should search there...

Know someone with a lathe ;)
Or a WTB for an old worn out amco. |

The wood deserves to be carefully refinished... http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1471480222.jpg Which is what I will do next! |
