Read this post about this new forum...
Hi everyone. This forum was created to answer questions asked about engine rebuilding, arrising from the new book. Instead of answering questions via email (as I am already getting email questions about the preview copy), I will post them here instead, where everyone can see.
This way, instead of helping one person, I will be building an archive of information that when coupled with the book, should be the most comprehensive library around. You can still search all of the 911 Forums by selecting the parent form "Porsche 911 Technical Forum" from the search menu. This will search the engine rebuild forum, the 964/993/996 forum, and the main forum as well. Thanks, Wayne

At last...the Rebuilders Forum!
Thank you Wayne, even though my motor is now complete, waiting on the dolly. After some other engine room jobs are done, in the car she goes! I want to say the Preview copy was a large help in putting things back together. I really liked the sequential flow of the chapters; it was confidence inspiring. When I turn the key in a few weeks, I'll let you know how it all turned out.

Ready to go!
I meant to include a shot of the 'Bomber's engine, waiting for installation day...yeah I know, "seen one, seen 'em all".

This is my first time to Post a message, though I have long been a many time reader. Just wanted to say Thank You for the Preview copy and for creating this forum. I expect I will be here often. My 2.2 is all apart and soon going to a machine shop for the oil bypass modification.
