Vacuum lines......
Matt,
The vacuum lines shown in the picture look good but they are not the conventional way they usually are connected. The decel valve/cruise control and distributor advance connections are interchanged. But they should be OK if they are connected to a vacuum port (below butterfly valve). Why is the distributor retard not utilized? You are masking a unknown problem with your distributor by eliminating it. Are you having any problem with the engine? Tony |

On the distributor retard...the engine is out right now for a rebuild. I did a cleaning and replaced some items on the distributor. I found that the vacuum advance pod works, however the vacuum retard did not. Since the retard is for emissions only (and I no longer have a CAT) I figured it was a waste of money to replace the pod (which is hard to find and $$$ if you do it seems).
