Nuts and bolts coming loose
Last year I installed a rebuilt 3.0 into my car. I had the basic engine done by a professional and then I installed the fan, carbs, headers and such. This weekend I was pulling off the shroud to do some work on the alternator and discovered that many of the bolts that held it in place were only finger tight. I know I had them tighter when I put it together. Should i be using one of the lower level Loctites on these?

Nordlocks work awesome -- did that on a 944 turbo that would always work the exhaust loose (and some of those bolts are a bear to get to). Nordlock'd them and never had any issues
as long as I owned the car. Mike

Blue loctite is a gift from the gods. Not only will it keep the nut from backing off, but it prevents any type of dissimilar metal corrosion that will make it hard to remove in the future.
Oh and... did you use a torque wrench to tighten your fasteners? If not, then no liquid magic in the world will help.

OP, which bolts/fasteners are your writing about?
Your wrote a pro-rebuilt it then you wrote you installed the fan, carbs, headers and such. Are you writing about items you installed? +1, did you use a torque wrench?
