Main bearings pre-74 vs post-75
Hello
The Porsche catalog says the crankshaft bearing shell part number changed sometime in '75 apparently for all models from 901-101-132-00 to 911-101-133-00 What's the difference between these two? Regards. |

Try not, Do or Do not
|
The only difference is the position of the tang.
Early cases can be altered to use either bearing.

The locating tab on the bearing was moved.
If you could post a picture of your old bearings and or case the experts here can tell you what you need.
