Show me your valve spring compressor
Looking for valve spring compressor's that work well on the 911. What is everyone using?

Heads on or Heads off?

911 springs are very weak stock form. Those cheap, C clamp styles ones with the adjustable jaws should be fine.

I have a C clamp type you use with the head off the motor that I got at Sears. It works OK with stock valve springs but it's a little flimsy so after market high performance valve springs are probably too much for it.
You get what you pay for and ebay would be a good place to look for a high quality used one. |
