Looking for valve spring compressor's that work well on the 911. What is everyone using?

Heads on or Heads off?

911 springs are very weak stock form. Those cheap, C clamp styles ones with the adjustable jaws should be fine.

I have a C clamp type you use with the head off the motor that I got at Sears. It works OK with stock valve springs but it's a little flimsy so after market high performance valve springs are probably too much for it.
You get what you pay for and ebay would be a good place to look for a high quality used one.

P7E & P7I valve spring compressors.....

These are P7E and P7I valve spring compressors used by shop or race mechanics to quickly inspect and test valve springs or bent valve/s for assembled motor.

Those are available from Pelican, order numbers PEL-TOL-P7E and PEL-TOL-P71.
They're designed to attach to the cam towers.
