New fasteners ?

1987 3.2 non T

Which fasteners need to be replaced when doing and upper end rebuild ?

I've got 12 new bottom head cylinder studs. Is stretching something to check for on the top studs ?

Hmmm... okay. I measured mine a few weeks ago and if i'm remembering right, they were sticking out 139mm Thought that was beyond spec.

Would they be an issue, Bruce, it they are corroded to the point of pitting?

The pre 3.0 can get rust because they are in the open air. The 3.0/3.2 are enclosed in the cylinder.
If pits are a concern, change them out.
