Engine build at the factory
I haven't seen this shared yet. Engine work comes in at 2:23. I don't see much oil on those pistons as they slide them in? Chains are looking pretty dry as well.

I was just there a month ago and saw that in person on the factory tour. The degree of automation is staggering. Every 2.5 MINUTES - minutes! A new 911 or boxster comes off the line. It takes them less than 3 hours to build a single engine.

I know a pro engine builder who uses nothing more than a spritz of WD-40 like lube on pistons. Rings seat way faster....

More than 25 years building VW and Porsche engines, I've never used oil on the pistons/rings.
Once installed and heads on I put a squirt of oil down the plug hole. Same with chains, lube them after they're in. Think about it, lube and sealant becomes a cross contamination nightmare.
