2.2 Short Stroke - Weber or PMO ?

Guys building a 86mm 2.5 from original T engine

What's the preference for carbs? And why ?

My preference is for Webers on these small engines due to better intake velocities.

Thanks ....did find a very nice set of the Italians Webers 40 .
As I am building an 86mm short stroke some rework of jets etc. relying on Wayne's suggestions.
Any other thoughts on those modifications and approach.
