I just checked. Part number for the 74-77 sporto tank and the 76-77 turbo are the same.

Consider mounting the oil catch can in the left rear wheel well.
Hose thru fitting into wheel well not that difficult.
All the excess oil & oil fumes then not in engine compartment.

I would rather have an occasional "oil splash" in the engine bay than in the wheel well near the tire.
Worst case some oil will drop onto the headers and burn off, driving at speed takes care of any flames. Some oil on the tire might put you in a wall (and catch on fire anyway). You could minimize that chance by having the catch can behind the wheel but that also comes close to the exhaust and I like to have that tank higher than the oil tank.
Not worried about the fumes, the fan will take care of those and extract them safely.

Had the car washed and polished not long ago and took it to work as a daily. Not really suited for that way too noisy! :)
Snapped some pictures with my phone while it was clean!

With many years of track experience , we found that the oil would register on the dip stick at the min mark, with the oil at 190-200*. It would not show up with the oil cold.
Thats how we ran the cars, without any problems . 12+ qts of oil will expand at least 1.5 qts in volume .
