Unknown Pipe on 3.1 rebuild

Hi. Just wondered if anyone could help me identify this pipe and where it goes. This is the only outstanding thing and for the life of me I can't remember or find out where it should connect. It's on the right-hand-side of the engine

Thanks very much

I don’t recognize the shunt but that size hose generally goes to the carbon canister in the wheel house on the Carrera.

that connection is just an intermediary between the same type of hose. You should find another hose just like it and they connect at the same point.

Mine runs along the right rear frame edge of the engine bay just below the oil filter and in front of the right rear shock mount.

yes... the other hose goes to the carbon canister... so the hose goes from the carbon canister into that 'shunt' with another hose clamp to hold it on

Or on the Carrera, the same size hose runs from the front of the throttle body to the vacuum diaphragm coming off the oil tank.

Thanks Everyone for the advice. I will take a look soon and see if I can finally say it's all back together
