Sorry for the delay in replying. I got my ATV jack at Costco for about $80. I have seen them offered at Harbor Freight too.

JTO - I have seen one at harbor freight but it only raised 16-inches. I'll have to see if Costco has them in my area that raise 36-inches.

I just purchased the ATV lift at Costco. Here are a few details on the lift;
Brand - Powerlift Hydraulics
Weight capacity - 1500 lbs.
Minimum height - 4.5 in.
Max Height - 17.125 in.
Overall length - 38 in.
Overall width - 20 in.
I'll be able to provide the effectiveness of this particular lift after this weekend when we drop the 930 engine.

Yes, the lift isn't what I said but more like 18". I forgot that I put 8" LVL blocks on the platform and found it worked well. I recently changed the way I drop the engine. Now, I jack the car just high enough to get the oil lines, clutch, etc detached. Then I use the ATV lift to support the engine and undo the four engine/tranny bolts. I lift the car with my jack at the tunnel with a 12"X12" piece of plywood to distribute the car's weight. Once the valence clears the FI, I roll the engine/tranny out and lower the car back down on the jack stands. I works really slick with less drama.
