Hi Catorce,
what's the difference in Your design that requires an orifice larger than the equivalent OEM part? The concept looks pretty straightforward to me.
thanks

The flow characteristics are different because I have to maintain the same barrel OD as the factory, but the barrel INSIDE DIAMETER on mine is different because I'm using steel and I have to accommodate the threads for the cap. In my testing, if I used the same orifice as stock, my flow was slightly less. Bumping the orifice size up made the flow the same.

My understanding is the 993 turbo squirters were different then the others by flowing more via a larger orifice. How do your squirters flow compaired to the turbo versions? When will these be available for purchase?

I think you have a great product. Just about every other engine I have worked on had removable squirters that you can get into and clean if needed. It always bothered me about the 911 squirters and how flakey the testing can be when doing a rebuild.

So the only squirters I was never able to get my hands on were 993 turbo squirters, so the answer is I don't know. I think by varying the orifice size on mine, you could get the same flow. I could easily make a 3.0mm orifice that would outflow anything Porsche makes.

Oh, AVAILABLE NOW! I have 20 sets, already sold a set.

Available RIGHT NOW! I have 19 sets left, 9 oversize and 10 standard. I can make more anytime, the machine shop is ready to produce another 20 sets or however many I tell them to.

Because of the patent taking so long, I basically went all through the prototype and testing phase with the machine shop and already made the first batch.

Adamo (catorce),

I'm rebuilding my 3.2 into a 3.4 and think your 964/993 squiters would be a good addition to my engine. Is there any need to modify or upgrade my oil pump to use the 2.5mm squirters?

Well thought out design and execution. Many thanks for bringing these to market.

Wish these had been available when I built my engine.
I'd have no issue with using loctite 640, I've used it since the early 90's, VW T1 gland nuts (flywheel), rod nuts, etc, my front A arm roller bearing inner races are "glued" on with 640. I've never had a failure when used properly.

What is their price point?
