Camshaft Shim Thickness
I discovered something interesting while checking my cam sprocket parallelism, et al, this afternoon. All of the shims that came with/installed/running with this engine are 0.50mm, plus or minus, not 0.25mm as the books state.
Anyone else run into this? Makes it difficult to make adjustments within a 0.25 range. OOPS! Ignore this post; I found the answer on a previous thread. Should have researched better first.

Shims are indeed all one size. I believe the window is + or - .25mm. No problemo
