Removing Cylinder Ring Gasket 82 911 SC
 

Hi,

Anyone have a trick to removing these? I made a few attempts using a seal puller but am concerned about buggering up the edges of the mating surfaces. Cross posting on 911 Tech

Thanks if anyone has any hints. Searched but didn't find anything.

I had no issuer myself. Could you try with a high pressure cleaner (water). Might get wet and maybe not even work but no risk of damaging

I just use the small screwdriver and distort the aluminum ring.
A set of needle nose will pull it right out
Then use a pick to clean the seal recess of deposits.

A little tiny screwdriver did the trick, they were quite gooped in as a result of the broken head studs. I used a shop rag as a cantilever to avoid the screwdriver contacting anything but the ring. So much for the "proper tool" seal remover. Thanks Bruce
