RIP Eric Anderson

My best friend since high school passed away this morning after a long and courageous battle with cancer. We met the fall of 1976 after both moving to Atlanta our senior year of high school. We hit it off instantly, as we were both interested in academics and in all things mechanical.

We were together every day, through thick and thin, doing crazy things in high school, college and thereafter. We drove our sports cars on tracks throughout the southeast. The V8 power of his Mustang vs the turbo charged flat six in my Porsche 911. It's where we met up with old friends, made new friends, and learned how to make a car go faster and handle better. Eric was always there to lend a hand and do what ever it took to get someone back on the track. Including ourselves sometimes. After track days, nights were spent recalling the day with a cold beer and a good meal with our track mates.

He made everyone's life who he met better and will be missed by all that knew him.

RIP my friend.
