A man is lucky to have just one or two good friends throughout the course of his life. You are a lucky man to have had such a long and trusting friendship. I am truly sorry.
I was a senior in 77, so we are very near the same age. Unfortunately, we have entered the cancer years. Many at our age are experiencing the loss of friends or parents. I will lose one of each this year to cancer. Cherish the memories.
