That is a fairly common sign of a voltage regulator/alternator failure. But before tackling that job I would recommend checking to see if your Cayenne is fitted with the auxiliary rear battery. I have found a few of these neglected batteries causing all sorts of issues, never the one you speak of but, new stuff is discovered daily by us!! So double check that first... It will be under the spare tire beneath the plastic cover... Let me know what you find!
