I'm looking to upgrade the evaporator core in my 1980 911SC. I like the Griffith's Kuehl unit but at $600 it's way overpriced.

Has anyone upgraded an early A/C to a later Carerra or Carrera 2 core? Is this possible?

Does anyone have the dimensions of these evaporator cores?
