yes it does matter.

the power from a contact in the starter feeds the CSV and the TTS from one wire. this wire heats up the TTS.
the other wire from the CSV goes to the switched portion of the TTS. this is a direct ground when the TTS is cold/closed.
the TTS is heated by power because it would take too long for engine heat to open the switch.

the 2 connections on the TTS are different sizes. they are a MAJOR pain in the hinney to get on with the down pipe from the AFM to the turbo on. if you can get them on without removing this pipe you have some serious skills. (napoleon dynamite).

getting that air hose on without removing the AC bracket takes some skill too.
you did not show the top side of your engine but do it have the air tube that is under that bracket.

what I do with my compressor when I remove it is to lift it out of the engine bay, with hoses connected, then place a very thick and soft padding on the rear fender and set the compressor on the top of the rear fender.

the flapper boxes are way up high right behind the engine. one is up by the starter. you will see a small box that may show 3 holes with a round cover that rotates to open or close the holes.
there should be an air hose from the heater box to the flapper then from the flapper to the car body.
the flapper is either open to let the air going thru the heater box escape under the car or divert it inside the car when you want heat.
