When you lambda-shift you know exactly what you've done to your bike, unlike chip-swapping/reprogramming, where the changes are secret. Although the Rexxar can change spark-advance, there are several advantages to the AF-XIED, which moves fueling toward Best Power Mixture:

1. The user can select how much fuel is added, it isn't one-size-fits-all, and complete ECU operation is maintained.

2. Fuel is added at small throttle angles, even in closed loop operation, where these engines are the most snatchy.

3. The bike can be returned to stock at any time.

4. When/if you sell the bike you can take the AF-XIEDs with you.

If you adapt Innovate Motorsports LC-2s to your bike, in addition to the above:

5. You get two programable, selectable AFRs that you can switch between.

6. You can ride and record AFR, even during acceleration and deceleration.

7. You can program leaner that stock settings if long range economy is needed. (Note: leaner than stock results in cooler EGT and cooler CHT.)
