Here is mine. I had similar issues with fitment, but my crossover pipe bracket was bent toward the rear of the car and the metal crossover pipe was too rotated up, this swings the connection end by the oil tank closer to the engine tin. So step one is if you tightend the crossover pipe and put it too close to the transaxle you might back it off a little, give it a bit more clearance and then the crossover to oil tank line fits better. It's still not ideal. I feel like it was a bit of an afterthought for non front mount cooler cars.

Sorry didn't want to remove my wheel, but you can see how I had to rotate the oil line to tank sort up up and put a curve in it toward the top of the car. No kinks.

Targalid, did you order the 'gold one' 911-107-728-int I was curious if they are different lengths. They should be exactly the same.

In conclusion:

1.Crossover line may have been tightened to prevent leak, and it may have been tightened without holding the line in place, thus moving the line up closer to the transaxle and also moving the end by the engine tin closer to the back of the car. This exacerbates the issue with the line to tank.
2. Line to tank has a natural curve up in it. It is not straight over (perhaps I'm wrong, but my original line was this way and the new one fits this way with no kinks)
3. Could be issue with Porsche official part vs cheaper aftermarket.
