Odd Tire Wear

I know the car is not a Porsche but it is made in Stuttgart.

Question for the brain trust.

Stephanie hit a curb with the Mercedes C300 and damaged one of her front tires. I needed to get it replaced. No biggie it was about 50% worn at 20,000 miles and it was replaced under warranty by the good folks at Discount tire. They checked the rear tires an found the centers worn to the wear bars (These have the same mileage, as the fronts).

Here are the pictures:

Right Rear tire:

I try to run the tires year round at the recommended tire pressure on the door jamb.

Is this Normal?

I am thinking that I should lower the rear tire pressure by 3-5 psi to get the edges to wear at the same rate as the sides.

Thoughts?
