I don't know what you mean, "I didn't contract for the work but super unhappy with it."? How did the car get painted if you didn't have them paint it for you? How did you find this painter? Did you look at any of his previous work? In progress work? Was it an insurance company referral? Once it is painted badly, one might assume that the prep work was equally bad. This might be costly to correct to make sure the next paint job is correct. Please post some pictures so we can better understand the quality issue. Best wishes.
