Guys,
As you know, this year marks the 40th anniversary of the 911. The '73 RS is widely considered to be the greatest 911 ever made, and since I own a reincarnated RS Touring (and, as some might argue, a slightly better 911 than the RS Touring thanks to a stronger chassis), I've written to all of Australia's (appropriate) automotive publications to see if they want to have my car for a few days so that they can write a feature article on it.
So far, I've received only one reply:
Matt,
Thanks for the offer, but we've already done a bunch of stuff on the 911 and we have some fresh items coming up real soon.
I'm driving the latest GT3 this Thursday.
Also, I don't want to put your car at risk."
Are these publications just not interested or can I attribute the lack of interest to a queasiness related to insurance?
