Though I was hoping for a Falcons victory, they took their foot off the gas in the second half since they had already won mentally. Tom Brady's instinct of "It's not over until it's over" (and actually throwing accurately) allowed the comeback.

Yes, the purpose of the NFL is to make money. They are successful. No need to rig the Superbowl.
