I'm new to this forum I have a Porsche 911sc 1981 I have a problem with starting and running, it starts then dies when I push accelerated it will run but back fires and rubs really rough when I stop revving it dies straight away. I've noticed I have 24 volts at + side of the ignition coil is this normal? I thought it should be 12 volts. Any ideas please

Woody,

As a protocol for new PP members, you are requested to post pictures/s of your new ride. Ignore it and you would be ignored. Welcome to the forum. Whatever you do, do not step on the gas pedal during START (cold or warm). This is a fuel injected system and not a carburator.
