Hi! I have an e30. When I bought the car, it already had an after market radio installed - so when I changed it for a newer radio, I just followed the wiring of the old one. It was working until I inserted the radio back in the dash. Suddenly no power to the radio, tachometer and dome light stopped working as well. When I pulled the radio back out, I noticed that the solid red wire was now unplugged from wherever it was plugged inside the dash. Where should I connect this red wire to? And is the the cause for my tach and dome light not working as well? I also plan to order the harness in your instructions below but I have a couple of questions.
