Nope, not replacing perfectly good hoses. My system works. I live in the San Diego area so I don't need ice cold AC. I have never seen a stock 911 AC blow really cold. Says right in my owners manual that system will loose refrigerant over time. I checked my records and the factory AC has hardly worked over the last 31 years so I feel my AC is like brand new with very little use! Anyway, I replaced compressor, expansion valve and black goo tape and receiver. Also replaced all O rings, changed over connectors for 134 refrigerant. Used correct oil, did vacuum check then used cheap gauges from Harbor freight to fill system. If an owner just wants his system to work again I spent about $500 to do the job. One day in the summer I actually got a chill from my AC. OK, that was a lie. Never going to happen out of those two tiny vents. HA!
