I still watch it most every year although my last bicycle race was in 1985. I have some snowy VHS tapes of the first tour that Greg Lemond did, the great one that he won by 7 seconds with the "new and radical" aero handle bars. I have a great one of the Giro when Bernard H was winning and near the top of a mtn. stage the spectators were trying to make him fall. His support car pulled in front and opened both front doors and spectators went flying everywhere. There was a huge flail and he was going to get DQ'd but the French Gov't said they would sue Italy as they were not protecting the riders!!!! He won it. Also have a home made video of Greg Lemond as a junior rider lapping the Senior 1/2/Pro field then sitting at the back for about half the UCSD Criterium in 1984 (3?) race. The #2 place rider though he won......surprise!

Maybe someday I can get them converted to digital and put on YouTube?
