About the tires, my 912E is much more lively on the 14" Fuchs than any other wheels I've had on it. The light wheel/tire combo really helps acceleration and braking (short of locking the wheels, which is fairly hard to do with no power assist)

I like the look of the fat tire with the 14s, got a set of used 195/70/14 from a friend just to use as rollers in the meantime. Have to get these 30+ yr old Vredesteins off of there!
