Well where to start....
I called the manager of the local parts store this a.m. an told him about my dilemma of getting the wrong coil from him yesterday. He assured that even though the one he sent was made in Brazil, that it was different., and it is in size, just a bit longer. He also wanted me to try it an that he would take it back regardless of the fact that I used it, if it didn't work. SO I ohmed it out first an it checked out o.k. The other one from Brazil does not ohm out correctly.
1) new coil
2) new FV relay
3) 2 very small vac leaks fixed
4) new starter. (The wire that goes from the starter to the CSV had some bare wires showing an shorting out, Fixed)
5) put new spark plug wires back on. (One of the old ones did not ohm out)
6) new spark plugs
I think the other thing that was very challenging was that the old injectors were so bad that the fuel mixture was way off. Had to go back this morning an do the 6 jar base line set up to get it to stay running an then 6 or 7 1/8th turns at a time to get it to run smooth.
Thanks so much to all of you for all your thoughts an help, it means alot.
